Depopulation Alert
While food and energy crunches have many concerned about overpopulation, the specter of depopulation looms in the background for the developed world. The Instapundit points to more evidence here.
In 1999, I finished my first novel, Sparkwood and 21, just after my first son was born. Needless to say, life has intervened and it is too late to return to it. It is completed, though un-edited. Classify it as a work of experimental sci-fi, with a ton of insane character names as well as obvious and obscure pop culture references.
Each day that passes adds evidence to one of the inexorable facts of our existence: it is not unique and, if we survive as a species, we will eventually encounter extra-terrestrial life.
